The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) held a Caribbean Primary School Tourism Writing Competition. Golden Rock School had 3 students that participated. CTO commends the school for their role in helping young minds express their vision for and knowledge of Caribbean tourism, through participation in our Caribbean Primary School Tourism Writing Competition.

CTO said "While only four (4) students were selected as the final winners, we were pleased to have your students participate and urge them to continue expressing their view on this important regional industry. Thus, as a sincere token of our appreciation we ask that you present the attached Certificates of Recognition to the various students for their hard work".

Jurgen Leon (pictured) was a finalist in the age category 8 - 10 for "Creative Writing".
Cathryn Sanchez recived a certificate of participation.

We encourage all schools to continue their efforts to lead by example, and invite their students to re-apply to future editions of our writing competition.
