The St Eustatius Historical Foundation is the island’s oldest heritage organization, founded in 1974. It aims to explore and preserve documents and artifacts that will educate the general public about St. Eustatius’ history and it operates the Historical Museum. Its youth group, the Simon Doncker Club organizes activities for youngsters to engage them in the island’s history and culture. In addition to a local subsidy, it finances its activities through museum entrance fees, sales from its museum shop and Gallery on the Bay, grants and giving historical walking tours.
You can find the St. Eustatius Historical Foundation on Facebook.
